Apple’s data collection questions

This guide is aimed to help you fill out Apple’s questions with regards to data collection. As each publisher is also responsible to report for any 3rd party he is using we wanted to make your life easier and provide you the SOOMLA relevant answers.

Location

• We don’t collect data from the GPS 
• We do collect the IP address and use it to determine in which country the user is in
• We also collect the app store locale

Identifiers

• Non persistent user IDs
• The publisher populates a user ID from his own systems
• We collect the user IDs assigned to the user by the attribution platforms
• We collect IDFV
• We assign SOOMLA user id to the user
• Persistent user IDs
• IDFA collection is optional and each app publisher can disable it
• Each user has control on the operating system level

Analytics

• SOOMLA collects ad interaction data
• SOOMLA collects diagnostics and performance data
